Inaugurated in October 2017 in a location just 15 minutes away from downtown Paris, Paris La Défense Arena is Europe’s largest multifunctional venue.
Born from a private project developed by Stadôme and the Racing Arena, the complex was designed by the architecture firm Atelier Christian de Portzamparc in collaboration with Vinci, and the exterior fittings were carried out by Paris La Défense.
A modular, versatile and modern 94,000 sq.m facility, Paris La Défense Arena is the resident stadium of the Racing 92 rugby club and hosts a varied cultural and sporting programme. The arena stands out for its unprecedented capacity, with up to 40,000 seats for concerts and 30,000 seats for matches. The site also includes 31,000 sq.m of office space occupied by the Hauts-de-Seine department, shops including the Racing 92 club shop, a brasserie and a gourmet restaurant.
