The EAA was founded over 20 years ago and today represents 34 leading European arenas across 21 different countries dedicated to hosting the most innovative and popular entertainment in Europe.

AccorHotels Arena, Paris Standing at the heart of Paris, near the river Seine, easy to access via public transportation, this state-of-the-art Arena is a spectacular architectural creation with grass slopes and a 6,000-feet roof only supported by four pillars. It was first inaugurated in February 1984 and has hosted in the last 30 years more than 46 different sports from Basketball to Windsurf, Tennis to Go Kart, even Ski or Track and Fields. Recently re-opened in October 2015 after 18 months of renovation, this new Arena is even more functional, more welcoming, more modern, greater. With a bowl capacity increasing from 17,000 to 20,300 seats in its largest configuration, the AccorHotels Arena has secured its place as one of the Top 5 Arenas in the world. This metamorphosis signals the dawn of a new era when it will rival the largest indoor layouts in the world such as Madison Square Garden in New York, the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the O2 in London and the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin. A new Arena that will contribute to Paris’ international allure and attract ever larger numbers of artists and spectators. With more than 130 events scheduled each year without any resident team, the AccorHotels Arena is resolutely re-affirming itself as a venue for international touring acts and major sports competitions
